Cynthia J Girman, DrPH, FISPE, is a biostatistics and epidemiology consultant in biomedical research, helping pharmaceutical companies understand how well medicines work. Her 40-year career has helped her sharpen skills in designing studies and analyses to address complex questions. She recently became an author of a book called A Voice from Heaven: From Earthly Struggles to Thriving in the Afterlife, co-written with her son, after he died.
